Six Questions on Network
Meeting new people with the same interests, swapping ideas/designs and getting feedback. From graduates I have spoken to (Falmouth/London/Leeds) its all about where your internships have been and who you know.
For what I may get out of it is it worth it? yes/no
yes, definitely.
What can I get out of this?
New friends/acquaintances, and potentially a job!
Am I doing this simply because I am being asked to?
No, its good to meet new people.
What do I think that I am not doing as far as networking?
I think what I need to prioritise on is my confidence and enthusiasm when asking for help and presenting. I think this sometimes pulls me back.
Do you think that in this kind communication, language is a major barrier?
